Good Monday morning to you all and Happy Australia Day to those of you that really matter!
For those of you who are not Australian, Australia Day is the second most important day of the year - the day when the First Fleet landed at the Botany Bay Colony. It is second because the most important day for a Western Australian is Foundation Day on June 1st. The day celebrates the arrival of European settlers at the Swan River Colony in 1829 and, therefore, the beginning of the great state of Western Australia.
For those of you who are thinking that the country is surely more important than the state - not according to the constitution. I am Western Australian first and Australian second. In fact, I think we should be the Commonwealth of Westralia - our own country - but don't get me started.
Anyway, weighed in this morning and here are the important numbers.
Remembering that this challenge started with me at 112.5kg and a BMI of 35.48, this morning I was down to: 111.4kg with a BMI of 35.16 and a WiiFit age (for those of you playing along) of 40, which is, of course, 6 years more that I really am.
I am happy to have won back the work of two weeks ago, but still not under the big 35, which is my current target BMI.
Back to school on Thursday, so regular eating becomes easier - hopefully.
Good luck to those of you stupid enough to head into Perth for the fireworks. For those of you who are sensible, maybe I will see you at the Armadale fireworks. (Hello to those of you in Bunbury!)
Gerard.
